Annual Hockey Game
Many of the members of the Finger Lakes ecclesia enjoyed the winter season by joining together to play in the annual hockey game held at the Clute Park ice rink in Watkins Glen, NY on Saturday, February 15. Good memories, loads of fun, and no lost teeth!
Sunday School Breakfast
The Finger Lakes Ecclesia held its annual Sunday School breakfast on January 12, 2025. The delicious treats were followed by a round of questions and memories from past Sunday School teachers and classes from our superintendent Bro. Joe Jr. We then toured through the Sunday School classrooms on a scavenger hunt to see the progress of what our children have been learning this past year. A good time was had by all!
Richmond Fraternal Gathering
Several members of the Finger Lakes Ecclesia traveled down to Virginia over the weekend of December 27-29, 2024 to enjoy the fellowship of the brothers and sisters of the Richmond Hall ecclesia as they hosted their Fraternal Gathering. Brothers Sam Diliberto, Zak Vest, and Josh Vest provided the classes for the weekend. To listen to their lectures, check back soon.
Fella’s Fellowship Night
The brothers and young men of the Finger Lakes Ecclesia gathered together on the evening of December 7th to enjoy fellowship, share a meal, and listen to a lecture given by Bro. Joe Pendergast Jr.. The focus of the evening was taken from Philippians 3:13-14 - “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Games like darts, cornhole, and ring toss were used as an analogy for our spiritual commission to keep our eyes focused on the goal of reaching God’s kingdom.
Randolph Fraternal Gathering
Several members from the Finger Lakes Ecclesia attended the Fraternal gathering of the Randolph ecclesia in New Jersey on the weekend of November 9-10. Brothers Joel Diliberto, Gerald Sankey, and Ken Wood provided the lectures for the weekend. You can find recordings of the talks through their YouTube channel.
North Little Rock Gathering
The North Little Rock Ecclesia held their annual gathering on the weekend of 11/1-11/3. Brothers Greyson Birong, Luke Ribaudo, Bill Tucker, David Bryan, and Ryan Fitzgerald provided the classes for the weekend on the theme verse:
Isaiah 9:6-7 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Mountain Grove Fall Gathering
Some members of the Finger Lakes ecclesia attended the Mountain Grove Christadelphian Fall Gathering on the weekend of October 19-20. The speakers for the weekend were brothers Tanner Hawkins on the topic of the “Edenic Promises” and Joseph Fordham on the subject of “You are Our Letter”. Aurora Borealis
Many of the members of the Finger Lakes ecclesia were able to see the Northern Lights on the evening of October 10, 2024. Another example of God’s handiwork, and a tribute to David’s words, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.”
It also gives witness to the unique qualities that have been established from the very beginning that make our planet habitable.
Isaiah 45:18 - “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.”
Preaching Class
Bro David Stanley from the Richmond Chapel Ecclesia presented a lecture on our Friday Night Bible Class on his efforts and successes in preaching. He shared his experiences and gave us plenty of advice and food for thought for further efforts in sharing the good news of the gospel with those around us. Click below to listen to his lecture.
